Tropical elegance with peaceful, serene living

Longboat Key is a beautiful resort community located on the Gulf of Mexico. The island has 12 miles of powder-soft white sand and is home to some of the state's finest beaches, restaurants, and golf courses. This luxurious community offers the perfect blend of seashore enjoyment and luxurious resort living without the crowds of other popular Florida destinations.

Most of the economic development that has brought the island to where it is today began in the 1920s when John Ringling purchased land and began constructing a luxury hotel. During the 1930s and 40s, Longboat began to flourish. Now, there are luxury hotels, condominiums, and resorts, along with luxury shopping and fine dining.
