Things to Do 

The Siesta Key Crystal Classic International Sand Sculpting Festival is a four-day favorite event among sand sculptors. There are also live bands and sand sculpting lessons at the event for those who attend the competition. Fitness enthusiasts will love Yoga on Siesta Beach. Classes are held regularly. The Myakka River State Park is 58 square miles of wetlands, pinelands, hammocks, and prairies that are perfect for kayaking. 
 
The Siesta Key Drum Circle is a special event every Sunday evening. An hour before sunset, drummers form a circle and play on the beach. Dancers and spectators show up to enjoy the rhythms. Siesta Beach is excellent for all things outdoors, from boating to watersports, fishing, and spending time with your family.
